Health Disparity

Health disparities, also known as Social Determinants of Health (SDoH), are conditions in which people are born, live, work, and age, and how these conditions and the inequalities that occur in the provision of healthcare, affect their health.

Focus for Health is committed to educating the public and policy makers about the widening health disparities that exist across the US to ensure all individuals, regardless of race, geographic location, or economic status, have the best health outcomes possible.
